Federico Colli is the Winner of the 1st Prize with The Daw Aung Sun Suu Kyi Gold Medal at the Leeds International Piano Competition 2012. In the Town Hall of Leeds, recorded live by BBC Radio 3 and BBC Four, he played with the Hallé Manchester Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir M. Elder. In 2011, he won the 1st Prize at the Mozart International Competition of Salzburg, performing with the Camerata Salzburg conducted by D. Russell Davies.

His recognized musical talent led him to play in important venues such as the Conciliazione Auditorium of Rome, the Verdi Hall of Milan, the Politeama Theatre of Palermo, the Filarmonico Theatre of Verona, the Grande Theatre of Brescia, the Salle Cortot of Paris, the Musikverein of Vienna, the Nikkei Hall and the Musashino Cultural Hall of Tokyo, playing with several Orchestras, such as the Rome Symphony Orchestra, the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, the Brescia and Bergamo International Orchestra, the Arena di Verona Orchestra, under the direction of L. Baghdassarian, N. Paszkovski, P. C. Orizio and F. Lanzillotta. In 2011, he was engaged in a tour of concerts in Germany with the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn conducted by H. Beissel, performing in the Konzerthaus of Berlin, in the Beethovensalle of Stuttgart and Bonn, in the Herkulessaal of Monaco and in the Laeiszhalle of Hamburg.

Born in Brescia in 1988, he studied at the Milan Conservatory, at the Imola International Piano Academy and at the Salzburg Mozarteum under the guidance of S. Marengoni, K. Bogino, B. Petrushansky and P. Gililov, also taking part in Masterclasses with M. Rybicki, E. Virsaladze, J. O’Conor, F. Scala, A. Lonquich and J. Soriano.

In 2013 and 2014 he is engaged in a Japan Tour with Yuki Miyagi, in many prestigious Festivals and Theatres, with important Orchestras and Conductors such as the Sociedade de Cultura Artistica of Sao Paulo do Brasil and the Piano Festival Ruhr in Germany, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Munich Herculessaal, the Cardiff Dora Stoutzker Hall and the London Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Oxford Philomusica Symphony Orchestra with M. Papadopoulos, the Orquesta Filarmonica de la UNAM of Mexico City with P.C. Orizio, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra with V. Petrenko and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra with Y. Temirkanov.
